Panama's most architecturally striking building — the only work in Latin America designed by the renowned architect Frank Gehry — sits at the Pacific entrance to the Canal. With a private specialist guide, the visit tours the Biomuseo's exhibitions inside, telling the natural history of the isthmus: how this strip of land rose from the sea and permanently altered the planet's biodiversity, separating the Pacific from the Atlantic while connecting two continents that had once been isolated.
The tour continues to the former Canal Zone and the Administration Building, where your guide narrates its history from the outside — the historic seat of the American Canal administration and witness to the division that split Panama City in two for decades.
Food and beverages, special arrangements and any other particular requirement can be coordinated to tailor the experience to your occasion or preference.
